Since 1997, we have been designing and manufacturing custom machinery for the Danish food industry from our workshop in Thisted. Every single machine is designed, welded, and assembled by our own team—because we believe that quality begins with the hands that build it.
From Thisted to the whole world
JOM A/S was founded in February 1997 with a simple idea: to build machines that last. Over the past 25 years, we have grown from a small blacksmith’s shop in northwestern Jutland into a recognized manufacturer of industrial food processing equipment, with customers throughout Scandinavia and far beyond Denmark’s borders. In 2024, Henrik Sloth acquired the remaining shares and now owns 100% of the company.
We are not a factory that mass-produces standard solutions. With us, every single system is tailored to the customer’s specific needs—from the initial sketch to the finished installation. It is this approach that has made us a trusted partner for everyone from small artisan bakeries to the country’s largest slaughterhouses and dairies.

Our core business is the design and manufacture of complete stainless steel systems for the food industry. Everything is produced at our own workshop in Thisted. This means we have full control over quality from start to finish, and that we can respond quickly when a customer needs modifications, spare parts, or service.
